This Privacy Notice explains how Catamount Labs collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information. It applies to information we collect whether you use or access our public websites (collectively, the "CatamountLabs Service"), or when you engage with us in any other way.

Changing Our Notice

This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. We'll let you know if we make any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Notice. In certain situations, we'll give you further notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification).

If there are any significant changes to this Privacy Notice, we will tell you through email or a notice on the homepage before the change takes effect. We encourage you to read our Privacy Notice whenever you use the catamount labs Service to know our privacy practices and how you can help protect your privacy.

If our information practices change in the future, we'll disclose the policy changes on our public websites to let you know about them and provide you the option to opt out of these new uses. If you no longer agree with this Privacy Notice and do not want your information to be subject to it, you must deactivate your account with us and cease using the CatamountLabs Service by contacting helpdesk@catamountlabs.com. Your use of the catamount labs Service indicates that you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice.

What Data Do We Collect?
Certain user information, including personal data, may be collected.

We'll use the information you give us. We collect information that you voluntarily give us, such as when you utilize the catamountlab Service. This data includes personal information. This personal information will be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Notice, as revised from time to time. Your personal data will be used to create or modify your profile and account, access and use the catamountlab Service (including but not limited to when you watch lessons, answer practice questions, or use a mobile app), participate in any interactive features of the catamountlab Service, submit a contact or consent form, participate in a survey, or request customer support, for example.

Your name, username, email address, phone number, information about your Product account preferences, transactional information (including services purchased or subscribed to and amount paid), and any contact or other information you choose to provide are examples of personal data we may collect directly from you.

You can use your social media credentials to establish and log into your CatamountLabs account if you are a member of a social media network like Facebook.

Our payment processor collects and processes the personal information you supply during the payment process (in most cases, Paypal or Stripe). Credit card numbers, expiration dates, security codes, and postal codes are not saved by Catamountlabs

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to remember and retain your settings for future visits, as well as to compile aggregate data on Product traffic and interaction so that we can provide better future Product experiences and tools.
We may hire third-party service providers to help us serve ads based on previous visits to our Products, report on the performance of our ads, conduct analytics on the use of our Products, fulfill orders and other user requests, prevent fraud, improve our Products, and conduct surveys about our users' experiences with our Products. For all of the purposes indicated above, we use Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, which includes data from interest-based advertising or third-party audience data.

Data Retention and Erasure

In order to keep correct records for tax purposes, we shall keep certain data for a period of 7 years from the date of your last log-in or other research activity. We shall permanently destroy all such personally-identifying information after 7 years after your last action. All additional personally identifiable information will be kept for at least one year after your last login, but no more than seven years. We may be compelled to keep data for longer than the retention term mentioned in this section to comply with legal, regulatory, or audit responsibilities. Other past study data may be anonymized and maintained at the option of Catamount Lab.

DISCLOSURE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES

Your information is not shared with any third parties and is only accessible by YPS officers. However, we may be required by law to reveal personal information to a government agency in certain instances. YPS expects to meet all of these requirements in full. Please do not use these services if you do not want us to disclose these required disclosures.
